A short, readable refund policy.
Last updated: April 19, 2026
How the deposit works
When you apply, we place a $150 authorization hold on your card. An authorization is not a charge — your bank sets aside the funds temporarily, but no money moves unless we capture the hold.
When no money moves
-
We decline your application
We void the authorization. Your bank releases the held funds within a few business days (most banks within 24 hours). No charge appears on your statement.
-
You withdraw before we've reviewed
Email us before we make a decision and we void the hold. Same outcome as above.
-
We cancel the cohort
Full refund of anything you've paid, no questions. We'll contact you with alternatives if we have them.
When the deposit becomes non-refundable
-
You withdraw after we've accepted your kid
The $150 deposit is non-refundable at this point. Once we accept, we stop considering other applicants for that seat, and the deposit covers the administrative cost and the held spot. The remaining tuition balance is not charged; we only invoice it after you confirm enrollment.
-
A kid is removed mid-cohort for conduct
No refund of tuition. See the terms of service for what counts as a conduct removal.
Balance refunds
If your kid is enrolled and then drops the cohort for a genuine reason — illness, family change, schedule conflict — we'll prorate the tuition balance (not the deposit) based on weeks remaining. Email us.
